Q: Do you sell ready-made props?
A: Almost all of our pieces are custom-made originals, but we have a few ready-made props for sale.
Q: How long does it take to create a prop or sculpture?
A: Every piece is different. We'll give you a timeline after seeing your project specifications. We make every effort to deliver what you need within your budget and timeframe, but if you have an extremely tight deadline, rush charges may apply.
Q: Can you ship really big items?
A: Yes. We crate and ship props, sculpture and signs all over the world.
Q: What if I need a whole environment designed?
A: Call us at 404-351-8388. We provide turnkey theming design and
fabrication services.
Q: How much will my prop or sculpture cost?
A: Many variables are considered when estimating the cost of custom pieces, including size, materials, quality level, complexity and deadlines. Send us an e-mail with the information on our estimates checklist as a starting point, then we'll discuss the details by phone.
Q: What do I need to provide to get started?
A: We can start with a general idea of what you want or work from your detailed designs or models. The more information you provide, the faster and more accurate our estimate will be. Our estimates checklist is a good place to start.
Q: Do you require a deposit before you start working?
A: Yes, we require at least 50% of the project cost up front. Call us at 404-351-8388 for details.
Q: What can you fabricate?
A: We can build almost anything you can imagine. Just because you don't see a similar piece in our portfolio doesn't mean we can't create it. All of our work is original and we have the talent and resources to create a wide range of items in any size.
Q: Why should I go with a 3D piece?
A: There are plenty of reasons and a big one is impact. Three-dimensional items simply attract more attention than flat graphics or even digital images. Read more about it in, Yes, Size Matters.
Q: Can I use my sculpture outside?
A: Yes, as long as it's designed and fabricated for outdoor use. We hard-coat our pieces with hard polyurethane plastic or fiberglass for durability and weather-proofing.
Q: What's the best way to contact you about my project?
A: E-mail a brief description of your project to Gary Bystrom at info@chisel3d.com using our estimates checklist as a guide. Please include your name, company name and phone number in your e-mail so we can call you if we have questions.
Q: How do I know you have the capabilities to do my project?
A: Probably the best way is to look at the work in our portfolio. Another way is to read, Sizing Up Your Options, a quick guide to choosing a theming design and fabrication partner.
